Dr. Mostafa Kohif, PharmD, MSc
CEO & Founder
Visionary Driving Innovation in Pharmacogenomics and Precision Medicine
Dr. Kohif, the founder and CEO of Kohif Pharmagenix, is committed to reshaping healthcare through a comprehensive approach to precision medicine. His journey began with a personal tragedy: the loss of family members due to preventable medication-related harm. This experience led him to envision a platform that integrates genetics, clinical data, drug interactions, comorbidities, and social determinants into one intelligent system.
With an MSc in Precision Medicine from the University of Florida and certifications in Clinical Pharmacogenomics and Cancer Genomics from Harvard Medical School, Dr. Kohif brings both scientific depth and technological insight to the company’s vision. Under his leadership, Kohif Pharmagenix has become a leader in delivering real-time clinical decision support tools that help clinicians make more personalized, effective treatment decisions.
Dr. Paul J. Sorell, MD
Advisory Board Member
Physician, Technologist, and Pioneer in Precision Medicine
As a contemporary physician who thoroughly understands medicine and technology, I’ve been blessed with practicing at the intersection of these two powerful concepts ever since graduating the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. As a clinician in Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation and life-long “techie”, I was instrumental in the process of transitioning from paper to electronic health records. So with the seeds planted, in 2014, well before “big data” was even a thing, I was one of the first adopters of genetically testing my patients to optimize their medication treatment.
It was thus a natural fit when I was invited to join the advisory board of Kohif PharmaGenix. I’ll be bringing my deep understanding of medicine, years of experience in medical affairs, profound expertise in healthcare communications, and first-hand knowledge of digital health to help build the world leader in pharmacogenomic testing—the premier platform that is both easily implemented and clinically relevant. For, at the end of the day, isn’t that what really matters—improving the lives of those for whom we care?
